Road & Haulage Case Study  In 1989 microbially contaminated fuel brought buses in a European capital city to a standstill. Over a 5 month period a number of vehicles from the local public transport company encountered problems caused by blocked fuel lines and filters. Eventually microbial contamination in the central fuel storage system was identified as the source of these problems. Treatment with Kathon™ FP 1.5 successfully cleaned up the system. Kathon™ FP 1.5 has subsequently been used on a regular basis to ensure that the stored fuel remains free from contamination. Kathon is supplied rapidly to haulage operators and transport companies on a daily basis. It can be supplied by Fuelcare in the UK in small quantities and also for larger consignments to the UK, Europe and Worldwide. |
